Coaches Programme
Kickworldwide Coaches Programme was created to deliver English Football Association standard coaching processes for aspiring coaches.
The coaching program is split into two levels to help individuals take their first steps into coaching and then develop their skills to achieve a UEFA ‘C’ License.
Participants will develop skills enabling to coach the youngest players through to open age.
The programme is accredited and certificated by Kickworldwide and the local Football Association.
Kickworldwide has access to fully qualified coach educators with many years of experience delivering English FA international coaching qualifications.
Level One
Level One is primarily targeted at teachers, coaches and parents and is designed to deliver introductions to coaching.
The programme teaches basic coaching and prepares candidates to coach at grassroots level.
The program includes:
- Provides the candidates with an introduction to coaching the games incorporating players from under 7 years of age to open-age
- Designed to prepare the candidates to coach football at grassroots level
- Candidates will get an insight into how the game is played and will enable the learners to support the development of future players
- Candidates will be introduced to the practical and theoretical aspects of planning, delivering and reviewing individual coaching sessions
- Candidates can expect to get to understand basic game formats, key rules, and coaching fundamentals all linked to the main principles of play.
Course duration – 14 days
Level Two
- Exploring in more detail the key elements that make up the principles of play
- Looks at how the candidates can help to develop players through the design of practices that encourage decision-making while also meeting the technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social needs of those players
- Uses a variety of session formats, it will build on knowledge relating to techniques, skills and game related practices
- Helps candidates to understand the high demands of the game and how to meet the needs of the players as they build a deeper understanding of their various roles and responsibilities for their team.
